The Nakamura Family comes from a long line of Samurais traced back to the Tokugawa Era in Feudal Japan. Even after the samurai class was abolished in Japan, the Nakamura Family has been a prominent force for the country. Ichiro Nakamura was a master of Japanese martial arts and taught his art to all of his children and grandchildren. His first born son, Hiro was a war hero for the US and the first of the family to use The Dragon’s Fire gem to fight for democracy alongside The Avenging Allies during WWII, unfortunately he was killed in battle before the end of the war. His second son—Toshiro, founded Nakamura Industries, Inc. after the war and it became a giant in world business. Toshiro and his younger brother Kano ran the multi-billion dollar corporation while his younger sister—Miko married an American G.I.—Artie Fitzgerald, and Kirasama “Kerry” had no interest in business and was a warrior much like his father and eldest brother—Hiro. Kerry eventually moved to America and opened a dojo in Chicago, IL to continue his father’s legacy in the US.Toshiro’s only son—Akiro, was a late bloomer who eventually took over the reins of Nakamura Industries after a failed attempt by Kano which resulted in Toshiro’s death. Akiro is also the Japanese national Neo-Human known as Dragon Fire. Miko— who died in childbirth and Artie had a son named Jazz who grew up in Japan for the first 15 years of his life, until his father sent for him to join him in the US. Shortly afterwards Artie—then a Homicide Detective was killed in the line of duty, and Jazz was taken in by his father’s partner—Detective Andy Glowiak. Jazz eventually followed in his father’s footsteps and became a Homicide Detective and was partnered with Detective Andy Glowiak.
