Strikeforce Infinity is a team of Canadian scientists/adventurers/government operatives, who are also Neo-Humans. The were brought together under the direction of the Canadian government's Fringe Science Division called Operation X. The members of Strikeforce Infinity are deployed to contain and investigate supernatural phenomena and threats to national security which human government operatives aren't equipped to handle. 

History

Strikeforce Infinity is a team of Neo-Human scientists who sometimes work as operatives for the Canadian Government in exchange for funding. Professor George Metcalf was the head of genetics research for the Canadian Government and the country’s foremost expert on Fringe Science. Upon securing a Progeny DNA sample, Metcalf was able to synthesize its complex structure using secret, advanced technology.

During his research, a extradimensional portal was discovered by a group of hunters who upon exposure were hideously disfigured before they died. The Canadian governement was determined to keep this incident from any outsiders and Metcalf was commissioned to put together a team of experts to investigate. Unknown to them at the time, was the fact that several other portals had sprung up around the world. (see Conflux)

Metcalf gathered five of Canada’s top genetics and spatial anomaly researchers: Dr. Peter Collins, Dr. Henri Dumas, Dr. Tess Renoir, Dr. Harold Tyler and Metcalf’s daughter Dr. Maria Metcalf. Using equipment designed by Collins and Renoir, the team armed in advanced containment suits and experimental equipment, entered the portal. The team lost contact with Metcalf, who was monitoring their activities from a remote location, for 24 hours, only to emerge, battered and near death.

Each team member claimed to have experienced unfathomable incidents which they described as horrors from hell and beyond. They also claim that while only four days passed for Metcalf, they were in the extradimension for almost four years. 

After a thorough examination, all five of the scientists discovered that their genetic structure and be mutagenically altered in unbeleivable ways; Collins' was spliced with the DNA of an extinct pachyderm they encountered while in the portal, and as a result he gained incredible superhuman strength and resistance to injury, along with an elephantine appearance, Renoir gained telepathy and the ability to move at superhuman speed, Tyler was able to bend the light around his body to create a chameleaon effect which allowed him to blend into virtually any environment, Dumas developed birdlike wings which allowed him to fly, the ability to generate ionized plasma blasts from his hands and he also gained enhanced strength and agility, while Maria gained physical invulnerability and the ability to stretch her body and limbs into virtually any configuration she can imagine.

When a rogue Government official, who wanted to use them and their research as bio weapons, the scientists metamorphisized into Neo-Humans with unique and incredible physical attributes.

	Dr. Tess Renoir	Celerity	Dr. Tess Renoir developed the ability of super speed. She was codenamed—Celerity.
	Dr. Henri Dumas	Red Goshawk	Dr. Henri Dumas developed physical abilities similar to that of a rare bird, which eventually became his codename—The Red Goshawk.
