Marlowe Enterprises was founded in 1995 by Grayson Marlowe, a young wunderkind, with a mysterious past. Through the years , it has developed from a burgeoning start-up to a powerhouse among global business entities. Marlowe Enterprises is a large multinational conglomerate company that stands among the the largest in the world with very a few rivals such as Reynolds International and Hiser Holdings.
Marlowe Enterprises employs a great deal of the city's considerable work-force, being slightly edged out by Reynolds International. Currently, Marlowe Technologies, Marlowe Chemicals with Marlowe Pharmaceuticals, and Marlowe Aerospace lead the way in areas of pharmaceutical and technological research and development. They have established several joint ventures with A.T.L.A.S. Labs, Reynolds International and Hiser Holdings. The company is known worldwide and has a huge stake in the global marketplace. Marlowe Enterprises has plenty of branches throughout the United States, Europe and Asia. The company owns sudsidiaries in several different fileds including: mining companies, shipping, oil drilling and refineries, food and agricultural productions and agricultural technology.
Marlowe Communications is a seperate corporation owned and run by Grayson Marlowe and is one of the world's leading telecommunications companies and an major economic engine of both Chicago and the United States. It also owns and controls local Chicago Television station, WNDE Channel 3. Marlowe Communications also supplies cable service and phone service to customers in Chicago. It has a broadband division that supplies Americans with cable and digital television services, and also produces several periodicals and books through its subsidiary Galaxy Publishing.
Marlowe Entertainment, a division of Marlowe Communications, secretly owns stakes in every major stadium in the Greater Chicagoland Area. It also has its own record label, and produces some of hte world's most popular and talented artists. Marlowe Aerospace has developed cutting edge technology in propulsion, aeronautical systems and global weapons systems. Marlowe Technologies has conducted extensive research into the areas of cybernetics, nanotechnologies, bio-engineering and pharmaceuticals. Marlowe Steel owns five shipyards in Chicago and several others across the world. Marlowe Steel's largest customer is the United States government.
